I've got Arc on the phone and I think he's falling asleep on me. x3 Fill a balloon with air, hold it next to the phone, and pop it. That will wake him up. >Sheepish< Oh. Okay, so I have to confide in all of you:
Right now I am feeling like a total arse. I bought 4 season passes to the Connecticut Ren Faire - two for me and Lord and two for a friend for her & her other for her birthday. Now we tried going opening weekend, we tried going last weekend...they canceled on us at the last minute both times.
Now she had told me she had planned on going faire hopping for her birthday (seeing we have several so close to each other), she never told me when, didn't even invite me to go...she just told me that is what she was going to do.
So anyways, some big money stuff came up and now I nor Lord have the money to go for the rest of the month (it ends at the end of this month). Because I purchased the passes only I can pick them up, but I can't get them!
She calls me last night to see if she could get the tickets for today. stare Even offered to pay for the gas to go...but even if we took her up on that we would have had no money for food while we were there. And honestly $50 in gas or $16 per person to get in? It seemed really stupid to take her up on that.
Well the ended up not going today and now she is acting all pissed off at me. I can understand being upset, I promised her these tickets. However it isn't like I blew her off because I had a choice. Now she is saying they aren't going to go until we go...except WE AREN'T GOING - AT ALL this year. We can't afford it! I am currently out 3000 dollars for bills - I can't go there right now!
They just got out of a money crunch themselves, you think they would be more understanding about it. *sighs* [/vent]

They had their chance, Ladi. They blew it. There should be no guilt or feeling of bad, especially if you explain that you can no longer afford the expense. If they don't get it, then screw them.

I honestly never saw this bill coming...it came up out of no where and I had to pay it. I even had to borrow money from Lord to do it.
I had no way of knowing I wouldn't have been able to go.
Edit: I am also losing out too...they can't be transfered or refunded. It cost me 200 dollars to buy them and I am not even going to be able to use them.
