I've watched Wicked and Rent on DVD. :3
Other than that... I saw a play last weekend that was a critique on the current state of feminism -- that it's beyond the line of affirmation and is actually crossing the line of promotion (as in, females are better than males) and is no longer promoting the message of gender equality and is more interested in selfish gain of power.

Lin: Top Girls, if I remember correctly? That's quite a valid subject, sometimes when I see super hardcore feminists... well, it scares me. They think men are all inferior and sexist. (ha! Oh the delicious irony)

Yup, that's it, Kerri. I'm a feminist, but not an extreme women-are-better-than-men feminist. It also deals with topics like how the Top Women -- the people who are the zenith of feminism -- of today don't do anything really for the average woman, the woman who wants to choose what they want to do.

@Linny: Yes... and we're still waiting for you... *skritches* mrgreen
@Pisces: Yes, it's off B'way now, but still touring (as a matter of fact, the new touring company will have Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp in their original Broadway roles), so you still have a chance. smile
Linny: Did you watch the DVD of the movie rent, or of an actual stage performance? The movie made some, shall we say, interesting choices... smile
@Kerries: I would *love* to see a play with you when you make it out here. biggrin

Agent: Spamalot... *drools* Oh how I wish I could have seen it.... I adore British humor. X3
Lin: Hardcore feminists also amuse me in their own selective ignorance... they focus on such details as how women were never seen fit to be doctors... not things like how there are now, on average 2-3 times as many women as there are men studying as medical students. Just things like that amuse me a little with the irony... Anyways, getting off topic there, not enough sleep I think. That sounds like a very deep play, lots of messages and questioning of big concerns. 3nodding I really want to see it now. X3 If only I could.
Dark: Haha, well thank you. ^^
EDIT: aretoo: Really and truly? biggrin *huggles* Yay! I'm very happy now. X3 Maybe I should like get a jar and start puting change in it for my "Fund to see Lorin and Daniel." XD
