D8 Oh Gosh, my family would hate Fruit Cake.
xd I think it's almost DEFINITELY a Brit thing. And it's so gross.
Almost every wedding I was a waitress at had Fruit Cake. With all but about...two exceptions. XD And when the other waitresses talked about it, it seemed normal. :/
What sorta cake do you guys have? ^^;
Edit: HEY LIN! ...& Gosh Aretoo, won't your hands hurt? D:

I don't have a costume for here or real life one. I'm pretty sure that I will just tape a box to my crotch and call that my costume

wow... 7 pumpkins... AWESOME!
well I've only been to two weddings, the first, a mormon wedding, had this white cake with rasperry filling thing and the second, which was my grandparent's 50th wedding was white cake with strawberry and peach filling.
I think the kind of cake depends on the bride, at least here you can have any kind you want.

Saverio C. I don't have a costume for here or real life one. I'm pretty sure that I will just tape a box to my crotch and call that my costume xd Will you be a transformer or something...? Or just Sav-With-A-Boxed-Crotch? >w< Thank you for taking my feesh, Kusa!! *hughug* Sorry it was so...separated. ^^; @Sanzo: xd Ahh, well, I'm sure that over here you can get any type of cake you want as well, lol. I think most people think it's more traditional to go for the Fruit Cake, that's all. Your cakes sound nice though. =w=

I agree with Sanzo, usually the bride chooses the cake (and I guess the groom may occasionally have *some* *limited* input... wink ); I've seen tons (both at weddings I've attended, and the ones at my place of employ (we have a LOT of weddings on the boat), and I've seen carrot cake, chocolate, poppy seed, white, yellow... but I've never yet seen fruitcake. (tries picturing a bride and groom statuette on top of a fruitcake) xd
Sav... with a box on his box. Well... that *would* be scary... xd

I would forgo a wedding cake and go with wedding rice crispie squares.
But I don't ever plan on getting married, so it's a non-issue. blaugh Used to joke about it with my ex, though.
