And at least with my folks it did. Or at least...they stopped physically hitting us. 8D Like I said before, after we reached a certain, unnamed age, they would just emotionally or mentally hurt us instead. Which, in my opinion, has no real purpose like the physical beatings on a younger child.
...Dear god, just saying 'beatings' I make it sound like I approve of child abuse or something O.O I don't, honestly, I don't.

yay for christmas.... oh s**t I should get Sean a gift! I have two months, so... maybe not so bad yeah... two months *has to start thinking now*

Yeah~ I would be cheap and get him something nice from the 99¢ Store; however, I think I should make an effort to get him something nice. I need at least $100 if I'm really wanting to get him something amazing from a store I know of.

I have an idea of what to get him. :3 I'm not letting a word of what I'm getting him leak out though. I may be sneaky and buy it right when he's with me. My mom's done that too me a couple of times. xd
I'll have to find some way to do some personal fund raising, though. x3

I would buy him boxers; though, my dad and I had a conversation about that once a couple of years ago while the two of us were walking around the mall -- do not buy men boxers. No matter what, don't resort to that. If you're buying boxers, you're desperate. x3
I would like to personally give him the gifts. I really don't want to draw him something because that's kinda corny and dumb. whee

...it occurs to me, if me and Sean were doing the things we're saying we're doing over IM... I'd be a little puddle of goo right now
I've always been bad at buying gifts, tis why I usually resort to "what do you want for b-day/xmas/whatever?"
