I usually don't pay attention to mangaka most of the time... I think the only one I actually look for is Nobuhiro Watsuki. For some reason I just really like his art style and stories.

Can I count the stuff I get in Shonen Jump? ^^; Cause if that's the case I'm also reading Yu Yu Hakusho, Naruto, Bleach, Yu-gi-oh GX, One Piece, and this one basketball thing I can't think of the name of.

When I really like a manga, I pay attention to the mangaka so I can see if I like any of their other works. I like Arina Tanemura and Ai Yazawa the most because of both their stories and their art style.

I am so picky sometimes that I prefer to just look for certain genres instead of certain mangaka, since they can write different genres themselves.

Oh I'm also reading this thing called Kujibiki Unbalanced. It was written by the guy who wrote Genshiken. So far I adore it.

I just naturally mostly only read shoujo so I think I'm generally safe. They usually end up being school dramas or something close enough... xd

I'm like the only one who's all over the place out of anyone I know. I've read mystery, shoujo, shonen (obviously) action, drama, comedy, and very perverted stuff. Luckily...Negima! Tends to cover the last four which are my favorite categories. Mmm fanservice <3

My friend (Chocolatemilk on Gaia, she used to be an ATGer) is very all over the place in her manga tastes too. She own something like 500 volumes of manga. It's insane. But helpful that I can use her collection like a little library... whee
