@Tsuji: One of my rotating desktop images is of Lio luring a fat bully behind a fence with a trail of candy, where a giant snake is waiting (presumably to eat him) ^_^

lol I've been a fan of Non Sequitur since LONG before he actually had threads of plot... ^_^ (I also liked Wiley's other comic strip featuring a grumpy old guy, before he closed it down and focused on NS. Alas, I can't remember the name right now.
(Ah, but the internet search is our friend, isn't it? It was Fenton.)

I've never read Fenton. I did discover The Argyle Sweater the other day, though. It tends to Far Side-esque, but still enjoyable.

Well... Fenton was from the early- to mid-80s... I can't even find an archive of them. And I gave Argyle Sweater a shot for a while, but it just didn't "hook" me. smile
EDIT: (though that is a wonderfully horrible pun...) mrgreen

Well, then it's no wonder that I've never encountered Fenton!
Anyway, I'm gonna split for now. Be well, all.

it occurs to me I have a short temper that needs to be reeled in... and THEN it occurs to me, that those who fan the flames deserve to get burned

See ya later!
And, um, yeaaaaah, aretoo really, really likes his comic strips... EDIT: It seems to me, Sanzo, that a focused flame has a hotter point, and can deal more specific damage... mrgreen

Yay for specific damage? On the upside my temper is usually only focused on one person/thing at a time

Hm... Well, while a firestorm is spectacular in its destructive rage, a cutting torch can be far more productive, no? wink

Very true aretoo, very true. I'm pretty sure I got some cuts in though so I'm not complaining.
