Taeryyn ...If you confuse me further, my brain may explode. And then I might cry. (Or, I would if I still had the brain capacity to do so.) *walks in* hey guys I'm back. Do I move a bit to fast for you, Tae? Did you know that one time I sucked six in a row?

Yes and no. : )

@Tae: Sorry for the delay; I'm shutting down the house for the night. The boat's always been my "spare" job; evenings and weekends. This time of year, there's not enough cruises for ANYONE to be full time, though after Thanksgiving that'll change for a month or so.
My day job was being a personal assistant to an interior designer; she was 85 (she's 86 and still kickin', as it were), had the beginnings of Alzheimer's, and fell and broke her hip, and retired; the office, as it were, retired with her. smile
And though I've been knockin', no-one's answering, alas. sad
...aretoo grew up with wild peppermint growing in the "bottom pasture"... Could wander down and just pluck a few leaves (or stems, or plants, or...) and munch on it to my heart's content... biggrin

Aretoo:
That sucks. : ( Career-type jobs are hard to find. And, from the sounds of it, the American economy is not exactly friendly at the moment? I haven't been paying too much attention, though. ._. My own job barely pays the bills, but it's worth it, considering I actually *enjoy* going to work now.

WiskersThCatfish 124-C You know what are good, Jimmy? Those after-dinner mints that dissolve in your mouth... Andes? Those are good, but they're spearmint. I'm talking pure, raw, unadulterated peppermint. Oh one-two-four-san... you so sirry. Oh, the ones I was talking about are... actually, I don't know what kind of mint they are... http://www.ohnuts.com/buy.cfm/bulk-candy/unwrapped-candy/assorted-after-dinner-mints

Yeah, from what I've seen here in Australia, shops just aren't looking for Christmas staff to the extent to which they did last year if at all. My brother has just done his year ten exams and work placement so he's done with school for the year. Good luck to him to find a job to at least give him something to do for the next two months.

We need to learn to spend the money we have where we need it. Not the money we think we will have where we feel.
