Kerrigan_dragon Thinks... for you..? o.O Wut? How does it do that? I has the same one. biggrin High five! Well, the TI website says that 89's are allowed like on AP tests and such, but I know that the higher the number, the smarter the calculator sweatdrop They will start doing more and more of the math, which is why most math teachers don't like 'em =P Cuz you're not really learning when you have these suckers.
I forget which one it was but my friend (she's a college sophomore right now) has one that's pretty much almost like a small computer O.O That thing was crazy, I swear...
And hullo Aretoo!~ =D

Calculators? Have any of you seen the TI Voyager 200?
It's the same form factor of the TI-92 Plus, but it actually has a desktop and can install applications and things. It's a nifty little gadget. :3
Edit: "I know you were trying to disconnect me, [Kerrigan]..."

Ag... no one reads/watches the classics anymore. rolleyes HAL is from 2001: A Space Odyssey by Arthur C. Clarke, and has even more pop-culture reference from the movie 2001, released in 1969. You'll usually see it as a red computer "eye" in the middle of a black field. (Warning: the movie is done at a slower pace than people are used to these days, and without all the flashy special effects)
Our guild 'bot is named AFTER HAL. smile (HAL is actually the H.A.L. (Heuristically* programmed ALgorithmic Computer) 9000, by the way)
ninja * adjective enabling a person to discover or learn something for themselves : a “hands-on” or interactive heuristic approach to learning. • Computing proceeding to a solution by trial and error or by rules that are only loosely defined.

stare I understood the HAL reference...even though I've never seen the movie...
And I think that's actually the one my friend has, Lin 3nodding I remember the full keyboard from when she pulled it out during the midterm. I was all 'O.O Holy crap what is that?'
But yes. Hullo to Arc and Lin and anyone else who has come in while I'm typing =P
