The immediate family is a little more inclusive than it used to be. It includes my siblings and their children, so 9. And we each get something for my parents.
If we were to include cousins, then my dad has 3 brothers with... s**t... 11 nieces and nephews. Several of them are married and have children themselves. My mother's side is considerably smaller. One living brother and 3 nieces/nephews.

@Tsuji: I know the feeling; with my half-brothers and half-sister, my brother, their spouses, my folks, nieces and nephews, and me and Kusa, we're up to... 24. Add my cousins and their kids, and my aunts and uncles (on either or both sides), and you're nearing a hundred... smile
EDIT: Oh, yes; my half-siblings are a good decade older than me, and their kids got going early, so I actually have a half-dozen GREAT-nieces and nephews now to add into that mix... sweatdrop

Oh my...(in my generation of the family, I'm the oldest (the next oldest is my brother who's 7 years younger and after that is my 6-year-old cousin >.>), so...no kiddies yet >.>). And 11 s**t...(Granted, a lot of my mom's cousins are just getting married now so yeah...Baby boom to come...>.>) My dad's side of the family isn't counted cuz it's only him and his sister now and she has no kids.
Aretoo: O.O Holy...wow. And here I thought my family was big sweatdrop (Of course, i still have trouble placing the cousins to the Tita's and such >.>)

we live at the closest.... I think 90 miles from any family members, it works out when we want to stay out of family drama
