Aww, I recently became a size 8 and I was so friggen happy. xp I'm still like a borderline 8-10 depending on the cut, but that's down from a size 12.
Anyway my boyfriend says that pencil thin girls really aren't particularly attractive, at least to him, and he says that he really likes my curves. And I know he's not BS'ing me on that because he's often honest to the point of being overly blunt. xp
And I'm fine really, I'm just a little punchy from 2 days of doing nothing but rest and drink Airborne. And yesterday I had to help my mom shovel out the walkway because she injured her thumb and couldn't do it all by herself. xp In the process I managed to strain my back...I was not a pleasent person yesterday. I'm feeling better today though, and by tomorrow I should be much better. @_@ So I'm really not complaining, but if I've been a bit absent/absent-minded lately, that's why.

Silver: ._. We can be short together. Well. You can wear heels at least.
Kyla: Pencil-thin isn't healthy for most people, I think that's why a lot of people find it unattractive. I think it reminds a lot of people of sickness or famine. ._. When people aren't naturally built like that, it doesn't look right.
I'm friends with a couple girls who are size 0, and people are often horrible to them. It doesn't matter how much they eat, people make comments about anorexia and give them dirty looks if they ever eat salad.
It's not socially acceptable to go up to someone and comment on them being fat, but most people have no problem commenting that someone is very thin.

@Tae how about we get you some platform boots or something? xd
Hiya Silver *hugs*
@Kyla good to hear your feeling better and I've actually been getting bigger lately... I went from a size 6, to a size 8 to a size 10 but it took quite a few years so its no big deal to me. As long as I don't get to like... size 30 or something
Edit: @Tae I think that's cause people don't understand that other people have different metabolisms. Honestly I've seen just as many people criticize people for being fat as they do for being too thin and the only time I'll say something myself is when I never see the person eat, then I'm like "um... you do eat regularly right? you don't go all diet crazy to stay that thin right? YOU BETTER SAY YES!!"

Oh I didn't mean any disrespect towards people with anorexia. If someone's got a serious condition that's different than someone who's just diet crazy and desperate to get into an itty bitty dress. 3nodding

Sanzo: Tae is not a drag queen. : D Also. I have never heard anyone say to another person's face that they were too big. xp But yeah, there is a lot of criticism there, it's just not as direct.
Silver: I don't know how people wear stilettos. I don't think it's a coincidence that a stiletto is a sort of knife. Dx What horrible things to wear on your feet.

I haven't figured that out either, really. The heels I have were for band concerts, but those have been retired to really fancy events, I guess...

YunieCookie Sorry I dissapeared for a bit there... My boyfriend just signed on and I haven't talked to him in about two weeks... Plus, he just came out to me as bi.... Yur, lots of talking.... Also, I have not much to add to this conversation, so I will continue lurking I was in your boyfriend's shoes. I was sort of seeing a girl when I realized I liked guys. What an awkward conversation that was. NOT to say that your boyfriend is like me. I know plenty of guys who identify as "bi", but mostly just like girls. Good luck with the talk. <3 He obviously trusts you a great deal. : ) @Silver: I see these crazy women walking around our city in heels, in the winter. Our sidewalks are cobblestone or brick, they're slippery in sneakers. Plus, the entire city is built on a hill. Everything is going up or down. I don't know how they don't break their legs. @Sanzo: That's horrible. : ( I've seen pictures of you, you're not fat. Curvy, yes. People can be such assholes.

^_^
I try not to say anything to anyone on either side of the weight extremes. I personally, while I could stand to lose a few pounds, am actually fairly healthy for my build... which, believe it or not, really is heavy-boned. People pretty consistently guess my weight about 40 lbs (!) lighter than I actually am. If I actually weighed what the weight charts say I'm supposed to be, people would be handing me food in the street and telling me to eat. wink (The max weight for my height is supposed to be 145-155; I weigh 200)
