I would argue that games which have all THREE of those intact are in fact the more enjoyable games. Mario, Sonic, etc.
EDIT: Also many of the Zelda games do include jumping; Roc's Feather in some, conditional jumping in the more recent 3d ones.

Well, Sonic can't really swim per se. And having a conditional remedy does not excuse the fault in the first place.
And Mario is probably the only one with all three faults remedied, which I guess is why he's lasted so long.
But what do I know. I'm just random wallet number 5977394748490.
(Made that number up, if you were curious. How would I know how the government numbers people?)

Then that's not swimming! That's going at a constant speed that offsets the pressure applied on the water so that he doesn't fall through it. Like a rock.

Is that right? I expected sooner. Huh... I just might get my netbook from CC then, if there are still some in stock. Netbooks are sort of the ala mode of portable computing right now...
