People can no longer cover their eyes.
Hrm, I need to check that movie out. I don't really remember much about 9/11, I do remember that I had just walked into my 2nd hour (late) And we were watching it on the tv. Then my mom pulled me out of school and took me to church.

Yeah, it happened like 11pm or something my local time. I came downstairs at like 5am or something cause I was woken by noise from the tv and my mother had just wanted to watch the late news the night before when it all happened and she'd been up all night watching it on tv. Apparently the news reader Sandra Sally who was on at the time (A well respected New lady here) she jsut stopped taking for a moemnt listening to her earpiece and she just suddenly broke down in shock and tears and began to try and explain what she had just been told about the towers.

I remember being confused at what exactly happened to everything. It never really fully got to me until I got home from school that day to see everything that has happened. I only got to see glimpses though of the videos since I wasn't allowed the telly at that age during the weekdays.

@124-C: Yeah, not one of her best ideas. I remember all the kids there going "But I don't wanna be here!" I'm out of school for the day, and we go to CHURCH?"
@Laz: Heh, I remember my mom freaking out. At the time, we lived about 2 hours from Chicago. We lived about 30 minutes from a town called Byron, Which had a nuclear power plant. She was convinced that it was going to be attacked for some reason. I remember saying "But mom, we live in the middle of nowhere!"

Nope, definitely not allowed when he was younger.
I couldn't go outside either unless it was on a weekend... sad
I suppose people can put two and two together and realise this was probably a cause to Linny's mental state now. :3

Wow, that sucks Linny. I had a friend like Rolly who was only allowed video games on weekends. That I kind of agree with the hole no video games being a good idea. But not even allowed to watch the news about 9/11 and no outside time? To me thats a little bit far, but probably not something you want to go into. So I'll leave it there.
I feel very safe in Australia. I don't think anyone cares about us enough to attack us xd

Let's just say I made sure to give my parents as much hell as I could to make sure my sisters actually had some life experience before moving on to live their lives after high school. :33333

Yeah, the video game thing was actually a funny story. I got addicted to Zelda games xd
Anyway, yeah. I'm looking up random crap on Google Video, I just watched someone throw a beer at Angus Young stressed

Hiya!
aretoo remembers 9-11... It was a BEAUTIFUL morning in Portland (Oregon), and I'd gotten up early to just watch the park across the road. One of our roommates called and asked if I was watching the news. I tuned in just in time to watch the 2nd plane hit... live. sad
I was working my photography job that night, too... It was a very odd evening to a very odd day.

I'm the opposite with Zelda. Althouh I have only ever played the one on Wii the twilight princess or whatever, I could just never really get into it, I played it for hours waiting for it to actually get interesting but it just bored me.

Twilight Princess takes an incredibly long time to get good, That's really the only problem I have with that game. If you can stick it out for a while, It gets better. Especially the part where you turn into a wolf.
