He usually comes to see us at least once a month if not twice and well... his job actually has him moving around a lot so it wouldn't be practical for us to move with him. He was in DC for about 2 years a few years ago and before that he was in the bay area though to be fair he keeps switching companies cause they keep offering him more and more money...

Night Ala!
My dad works on the local Air Force base. it's only a 30 minute drive, but occasionally they put the base on lockdown and won't let him leave. They won't even let him phone out of the base, so he can't tell us what's up. He's also on call a lot, a couple nights ago his phone woke everyone up at 4 am because all the phones on the Base were out. (My dad fixes the phones)

that has to suck, I'd be hella worried if my mom or dad were supposed to be home and they still weren't and I didn't know what was going on. I do panic attacks when I have reasons to worry about my family.
I'm really really proud of my dad though, he worked his way up from basically a janitor to VP of... aww crap I can't remember but he's in charge of fixing up apartment complexes that the company he works for buys, like I got to go with him one day while they were figuring out how they were going to arrange things in this complex in DC and wether they were gonna change any of the walls and stuff like that

Ah, thats cool. Sorry it took so long to reply, my dad has got a new desk, and he's anxious to get the thing installed. The thing is huge, and twice as heavy as it looks like it should be.

Well, the thing is, it's almost 2 am here. It's normal for me to be up later, but not moving heavy things. He's a computer geek, he's got his workstation out in the garage. Since he works on base, He's able to pick up the old computers that the air force throws away. There's got to be at least 50 computers out there.

Damn that's kind of cool. If my dad had that many comps I probably wouldn't be allowed near them xd I am apparently cursed when it comes to computers
anyway I'm kinda tired so I'm gonna head to bed, GNIGHT!
