And instead, we have to deal with tumbleweeds here. Which actually get pretty damn big. I almost hit one the size of my car a few days ago when I was driving my brother home from school.

And there are TONS of them here. I've seen places where they blow up against a fence and accumulate, and the pile is usually bigger than a bus. And they are NOT fragile, hitting one with a car will do some damage.
