I'm currently hosting a contest in the ATG clan...
It's...weird. You buy the item, and when you open it in your inventory, you get an option to compete or forfeit. Competeing either gets you a ticket to the next round, or something you can sell to the shops (I got 9k for failing round 2) Forfeiting... Well, I don't know what you get for that. You get something.
EDIT: Well, I have a swamp cooler, but that doesn't do much other than throw a bunch of humidity in the air.
