aretoo: If I become an archaeologist, I'll see if I can take you on one of my digs on the other side of the world, ok? biggrin
I've never been out of the country, and only once out of this half of the country. emo
Tsuji: Why do you not want to go to the Louvre?

@aretoo, I want to go EVERYWHERE, but I think I've said that before. I doubt they're gonna put Superman in the show though, they seem to be going for either lesser known heroes, or ones that aren't as popular you know? But what do I know, tis cool so far
@Roland you need to go to Mexico, its made of win and awesome and I love it *huggles her Mexican flag*
edit: @Tsuji oddly enough my friend was able to go to Mexico and back, driving I mean, just by having her driver's license, I have no clue how she managed to pull that one off

I think it's because I'm a bit of a snob, Kerri. Everyone is all "Ooh! The Louvre!" and I'm like "Oh, the Louvre again"...
And I'd rather see where art is going that where it's been. I already know where it's been.
@Sanzo — That's all you used to need. The first time I went to Mexico that's all I had. After 2001, though, the US started requiring a passport to get into the country. So you can go into Mexico with a driver's license, but you may not get back...

@Kerries: heart for digs! ^_^ @Sanzo: On my last vacation (longer ago than I'd care to admit), my ex and I went to Ziwa. Very nice. ^_^ @Rol: If you look back a few pages, you may find a link to some comic strips that are somewhat OK... ^_^

124-C I think it's because I'm a bit of a snob, Kerri. Everyone is all "Ooh! The Louvre!" and I'm like "Oh, the Louvre again"... A friend of mine has been to France. She thought the Louvre was crowded and the Mona Lisa not worth the wait because it's so small. She didn't like pretty much any of Paris, though.... Said there was too much graffiti.

Tsuji: I'm a history buff, what can I say. I'm actually more interested in what kind of cultural phenomenons the art portrays than the actual art itself. I don't like modern art so much, I mean, some of it is nice, but I'm not a fan of contemporary.
aretoo: ^^ Archaeology makes me happy. biggrin

I'm one of those wierdo's that looks at graffiti like art. Some of it is incredibly well done, there is real talent there despite the fact that it is defacement of public property.
Which randomly reminds me. I watched a guy get a $750 parking ticket today, and it could have all been avoided if he had paid $1 and parked one space to the right...
aretoo: I will have to check that out I guess.

I like art and love museums in general. But crowded ones...maybe less so.
Next week I get to go to the High Museum to see the last part of its Louvre exhibit! Where works from the Louvre have been brought on a mini "tour". Also get to see a part of the Terracotta Army.

I would highly recommend getting it, Rol. It's $100 for a passport book and, as long as you're older than 16, they're good for 10 years.
@Sanzo — I don't know then! gonk @Waku — Yeah, that's pretty how I feel about all of France. "Ooh! A French vineyard? How romantic!" rolleyes

Like...just stupid scribbles. Nothing anyone really worked on. There little dudes are all around Atlanta. I enjoy them. Like little easter eggs to find.
