aretoo was taking a trip down memory lane earlier today, and he found what he believes may be his first post in this thread (though it seems that I was already somewhat familiar in the guild itself)... ^_^
Wow, what a trip... faces and names I haven't seen in ages... though oddly (only 'cause you're here right now), I saw a lot of YOU there, Kire! ^_^
So, aretoo and Kusa are settling in with Taco Bell and anime (Basilisk, if anyone's keeping track), and being on here. Yay! mrgreen

I honestly don't really want to see it. I read the graphic novel first, so I'll have unrealistic expectations.

@Erve: Everything I've heard has been wonderful about it, and the director is a big fan of the novel and used it as a storyboard for the movie... just go into it thinking it's an alternate-universe take, and enjoy! ^_^
ninja aretoo thinks about dragging out the 12 individually purchased issues he got 23 years ago for nostalgia's sake... ^_^

I'm just hoping that they don't go Spiderman with it... The grittiness of the story and characters is what kept me interested in it enough to finish reading.
...and I hope they don't hit the uncanny ravine with CG the way they did with the latest Indy film and the second and third installments of The Matrix...
