So... It appears that my latest venture into the main forums has attracted flamers as well. Although, I should have known, starting a petition against soulbinding...
...The prize is 5k. Why not swing by and check it out? I think the reason that they soulbound the rings was to keep people from twinking with mules.

EDIT: It's not just the rings though. That's the main focus, but it's ALL soulbound items, like the sashes. And I actually found a petition for OPTIONAL SOULBINDING, which I think is a good idea for security purposes.

@ Roland - Well, petitions are always gonna cause some controversy. Is it against soulbinding in general or soulbinding specfic items?

It's against all forced soulbinding. They are our items, we should be able to do what we want with them without being told what and what not to sell.

 confused @Rol — The sashes make sense, too, though; they were a specific reward for older members. This way oldbies won't b***h about newbs wearing the wrong sash later on...

It's still not right. It makes me feel cheated. You know what I got for beat testing the game? 50,000 gold on a test server, and it wasn't transfered to my main. I really don't understand why gaia feels the need to be so STINGY with all this crap...

Heh, I was able to get all the sashes aside from the 2009 one before they were soulbound... sweatdrop
I honestly don't care if someone wears a sash from a year they didn't join, though. But I also think it was silly for Gaia to make sashes with the years in the first place. It only promotes elitism....

So... I bought some Null Fragments in anticipation of being able to trade them in for a Wish Ring when they do the switch... Well, I got my Wish Ring...
