 Probably already said but: Items are not actually "ours" Roland. If you read the ToS you'll see that they retain "Intellectual property rights" so they can do what they like with their items (Yes even if you pay for it).
Also:

More people should read the ToS it's actually really funny. Like it says that if something happens to your account even if it's Gaia's fault they can't be held responsible for damages.
