I agree Tsuj. To be frank when I realised it was a movie based on a graphic novel, and when I realised Dr. Manhatten's abilities, I was totally expecting some form of Deus Ex Machina. Much to my surprise there was no Deus Ex Machina and the ending was just awesome.
I loved it.

I liked the movie more than the graphic novel. ninja They changed the ending...

I think it's good, Chester. :3
Edit: Also, IMO, all the heroes in that novel were absolutely hot. ALL of them (well, maybe with Dr. Manhatten as an exception). heart

Hi guildies!
I want to see Watchmen. As much as I would like to read the graphic novel, I doubt that I will get the chance to visit Sydney to go to the Kings Comics shop beforehand. Unfortunately the area in which I live doesn't provide very well for comic book nerds.

wakusei Now...did I hear correctly that The Black Freighter was animated and is coming out on DVD...? At least with the DVD of the movie...? Yes, they made an animated version of The Black Freighter that will be released on DVD. I'm not sure how you will be able to obtain it, though. I also know that it will be rated R.

Oo, interesting.
I always thought Under the Hood managed to pretty much say everything about Hollis' life all in those three chapters pretty much. I mean...it summed everything up so nicely, I wonder what the rest of the book could have talked about.

Be well, then, Lin. Who knows, Waku? It seems that with Tales of the Black Freighter they're expanding on/completing the story that they included in Watchmen, so it's anyone's guess how they'll expand Under the Hood. Unless I missed something in the book... [edit]Just found the byline on the article I was reading (May of 200 cool , guess the release date got pushed to the 24th.... stare
