It's not politics, it's racism. x3 I was kinda shocked to find myself in agreement with GTR. Although I don't echo the "die-in-a-hole" sentiment.

Another reason I haven't really chimed in; I don't really know anything about gypsies, rather than in popular culture. (Books, movies, etc.) These portrayals are usually highly romanticized, for the good or ill. ninja I still think the OP is kinda a cockroach.

I know a little bit about the Romany from Europe, but I wasn't aware there was much of a population in the US, which is why I didn't really say anything sooner. : s I just don't see how it's possible for hundreds of thousands of people to all be "bad". And I don't dislike him as much as some other members of the guild, actually. *shrug* But I know what you mean.

Yeah, it strikes me like the "all Asians are brainy", "all blacks are thugs", "all Mexicans are lazy", "all Americans are fat, loud, and obnoxious" (though that latter one I'm afraid I can't argue with a lot); pretty much any time you paint with such a broad stroke, the colors aren't going to be true. I don't actively HATE him or anything, but his posts tend to leave a bad taste in my mouth, so I tend to not want to reply in his threads.
