*headdesks* yet ANOTHER evolving item, eh? I guess I might have to break down and buy a few cash cards, most of the evolving items have at least one good pose. I already bought one, and I got a gimpi out of that...

First and foremost, I have a horrible phobia of dental work. As in, thinking about going to the dentist usually makes it hard for me to breathe. I'm terrified.
I spent most of yesterday in a lot of pain from a horrible tooth ache, and it's still pretty bad today. I'm scared that it's something serious and that I'm going to need invasive dental work to fix it.
I have no dentist, which means I have to locate someone who will deal with emergencies. But I also do not have insurance that covers dental work. So I have NO idea how I'm going to pay for it.
So I am most likely going to bankrupt myself for a procedure that is going to be incredibly painful and put me out of work for a week. =/

...I can't believe I just came into ATG for the first time in a while and see a thread of what was basically racial profiling, and almost half a page of agreement.

Hey Celes. Yeah, that thread was a bit...scary...
@Tae: I knew someone who was terrified of the dentist as well, she had a panic attack every time she had to go. It got to the point where she just quit going. What causes people to be afraid of the dentist? I dunno...

I think the 5 subsequent pages of adamant disagreement makes up for that half-page of uninformed semi-agreement.
@Ro: What makes people afraid?! Dx Some person with a bunch of sharp tools doing god-knows-what to your teeth, assuming that you can't feel anything? I don't know about your dentist, but I have NEVER had anaesthetic that actually completely numbed my mouth. Fillings, shaving a tooth for a cap, etc....extremely painful, even with shots of anaesthetic in my mouth. I am petrified about the very idea of having a tooth (or multiple teeth) extracted. I can't even ********. ********. ********. I need to stop thinking about this, I can't breathe.

I'm sorry to hear about your discomfort, Tae. I'm not to fond of the dentist myself. I had to have my wisdom teeth removed during boot camp, of all the places. x.x Laid up in pain in my rack for three days while the division commanders bitched and yelled...
Anyway, some of the most horrible things in life are those paid for. Wish I could help... sad
