I'm totally a comics fan, but I'm totally also broke. So I don't get to be hip on the new trends, like comic-books-turned-movies, unless I've already read them. You like crazy characters, huh, Sanzo?

That's interesting. Why so? I definitely like dynamic, interesting characters with lots of depth. I never considered the crazy ones so much.

As for me: The crazy ones are just.....huh. Dunno why exactly they're cool. I suppose it's cuz I'm a bit screwed up in the head as well? sweatdrop
And deep characters are nice, but sometimes they come across as preachy or whiny >.> Although that probably means they aren't too well-written sweatdrop

I like them to have some value as characters. They're not always the main characters, either. My fave Hellsing character is either Seras, Walter, or Pip... alternating between who I'm currently thinking of. rolleyes

I... honestly don't know. I think its partly because they clash so dramatically with my own actual world view. That fascinates me and I find it rather cool this utter disregard of everything and just.. doing whatever they want or acting to the very extreme.
Oh deep characters are awesome, when they're truly deep and not just fakely deep cause the author can't do it right.

I don't know much about Bleach, either. Again, too broke to follow the trends... @ Sanzo: That makes sense. I think the reason I prefer the deeper ones is because they have logic that I can follow. Done correctly, fictional characters can be extremely revealing as to the author and their psyche. Hi, Jaft.

I have to admit... I love strong female characters best of all, and I mean strong not just physically but emotionally. Like Silk Spectre II bugged me cause she seemed so... emotionally weak I guess. She went from staying with Jon to staying with Dan, what happened on trying to live on your own? Making your own way in the world? Aren't you freakin 35?
edit: @Steph well watching Bleach doesn't cost me one single cent... but that's cause I watch it online mrgreen
