@ Tsuji: What's Tuesday? @ Silver: Oh noes! What's it in? @ Sanzo: I know, I hate it when female characters are just a mishmash of feminine stereotypes. And my laptop doesn't like to play me videos for extended periods of time. My IE shuts down, and I can't use Firefox because the spyware remover I have won't let me download the aps for it. mad

aww that major sucks Steph *huggles* and yeah female stereotypes annoy the hell out of me. It irritated me that the first Silk Spectre seemed like a stronger woman than her daughter. At least she never depended on a man to support her stare

I never liked the different personalities that people attribute to women... all five of them. stare There's the needy whiner, the naggy b***h, the Hepburn-esque social butterfly, the vicious, conniving user, and the innocent, clueless jailbait. Almost all female characters are some variation of those.

....It seems to me that a lot of times, even if a female character isn't exactly a cookie-cutter stereotype, they're awfully 'wah wah wah look at me' and all angsty-like. >.>

which is always highly irritating, it makes me sooo happy when I finally see a strong female... even if it is a very rare occurrence

@ Sanzo: I don't even require her to be strong, like, a totally independent diva or anything. I just would like to see a female character modeled after a real person. We're not all crazy feminazi bitches with repressed sexual urges and a penchant for backing guys up with (sh)witty one-liners and badly-executed spinning kicks that make our skirts flare up in a perfectly choreographed scandalous fashion. xd @ Tsuji. I'm pretty sure I won't get mad. It's hard to get me mad over harmless things like opinion-sharing.
