My member level is 8, and everyone else is like... 45, so I get killed constantly, but it's so much fun biggrin

Plus with all the wordfilters up and stuff. It's all " Ye Olde Forums " style kind of thing with you being filtered to Thou, and random " eth " 's being thrown on to stuff... It's a lot of fun. Plus I think I've posted more today because of this even than I ever did before >_>

Regardless, now a lot of the members actually talk to me, rather than just ignoring me because of my low post count or something.

It's funny... with the 3D movies I've seen recently, it seems like early on, there's one little nod as if to say, "Yes, it's a 3D movie. Now get over it." In this one, it's a guy playing with a paddle ball. At the screen. mrgreen

EDIT: @Sanzo: I personally think the 3D adds a very nice texture and literal depth to the movie... and that's actually the reason the studios are producing them: home theater systems are advancing to the point where people don't have to go to a theater to get a superior movie feel, and they CAN'T get the real-D systems at home. smile

I have a slight astigmatism in my left eye. Plays all kinds of tricks on me (ie: I catch things out of the corner of my eye and it looks like they're moving). I actually "play" with it a little from time to time...

Appleseed Ex Mechina was enjoyable, but I didn't really pay attention to it when it was on.

I suppose you've got a point but then 3D seems to be limited to animated movies so yeah... not sure what my point is there xd

Sanzo: *so far*. James Cameron's live action Avatar, I believe, will be the first non-animated feature to use it, but *first* is the key word there. smile

@Tsuji: I wonder if that's why it doesn't seem to work for you... confused

EDIT: *smacks forehead* What am I thinking? The first to use it was Journey to the Center of the Earth (which I haven't seen yet); the second was, I believe, the Jonas Brothers concert movie. smile

Thie first Appleseed is awesome and it is my favourite movie. Not just my favourite anime film but all-around film. Ex Machina was complete crap. Yet another shitty sequel. I'm not even go into details because I'll rant forever, well at least a long time. Point it pales in comparison to the first and is a generally bad movie. Stupid Joo Woo or however his name is spelt turning it into and dumbed down bullets and explosion fest. I think he must be the Michael Bay of Asia.

@aretoo — It could be, but I doubt it. I have astigmatism correction in my contact lenses, so I would see a difference there... I think it's the same problem that I have with HD, yeah, it's there, but I don't see an appreciable gain...
