You'll probably find this funny, Percy: After at least an hour's worth of trying to catch a Shuckle last night, using Emerald in slot 2, I finally gave up and examined my copy of Emerald more closely (read: I took apart the cartridge). It's fake.
I couldn't find a Shuckle because my DS game wasn't even reading that there was a Pokémon game in slot 2...
