I think there's plenty of guys who are into anime and are able to carry on a social life at the same time. xp My boyfriend is anyway.

I think there are so many people that are into anime/manga/video games, these days that there's pretty much every personality you could think of within that social group.

It also helps that girl gamers/anime&manga enthusiasts are much more accepted and common to see these days. We've always been around of course, but I think for some reason, we're getting more notice lately.

@Kyla I think that's cause anime is becoming more and more mainstream. I mean FMA was a HUGE hit and even before that DBZ was paving the way.

When I was a little kid my cousin used to set me up against his friends at Mortal Combat for the Playstation. xd He knew I could kick their asses so he'd go, "Hey Katie, wanna try a video game with us?" And I'd be like, " :B duuuh....sure! Mommy doesn't let me have video games at home! (which she didn't for the longest time)" Then I'd mop the floor with them. rofl
