Yeah, I think light literature is best for that. Something with tension and heavy immersion..not so much, usually <.<
Though, immersion can help too sometimes...depending on the book, yeah lol

I agree, perhaps it is because I am fastidious or the school environment I've had. But the sort of teaching I see even at the schools my parents work at lack all those things. And so I'm not surprise at the results.

At the moment I'm not reading anything "real", but I do have an audiobook going. Terry Pratchetts Thud.
The last real books I read before that were "A dirty job" and "Lamb", by Christopher Moore, both excellent books in my opinion.

I read only few..."real" books actually...the books I normally read are purely scientific ...in one way or another. Like books about programming, physics, mathematics and all that stuff...
Yeah ...lol...I'm lame...
(But its ...fun ;_; since it will all pour into creating something ...nice...)
