I used to build forts when I was being babysat. I'd take these really high stools and put blankets over them. With a couple of friends, we'd hide under there with those big barrels of popcorn they sell during the holidays.

Holy hell, that freakin' hurt. I slammed my elbow right into the edge of the front door when I went to close it from coming inside. *Nurses it with an ice pack.*

I made a fort for my nephews a few weeks ago. They thought it was a "campsite".

Chex: Ouch =S
Tsuji: I shot my cousins with a Bionicle gun a few weeks ago. The younger one pulled out his Legoland sword and shield because there wasn't enough shoot-y things.

wakusei Oh noes! Did you hit your funny bone? Probably. I couldn't feel my arm for a few seconds. There's a nice lump on my elbow now and a little red mark, almost cut-like there. If I hit harder enough, I could have split the skin.
@Tsuji: Must be nice to have nephews. I don't have any younger relatives to dote on.

Ouchies. Gotta look out for those elbows!
I have a niece, but she's only one so I can't do much with her as of yet... sweatdrop And she lives several states away....

That sounds unpleasant. Ouch...
I have no nieces or nephews either since I'm the oldest (by 7 years >.>) but the age gap between my cousins and I is ridiculous. I'm 11 years older than my oldest one, and I have 3 that are under 3.

Yeah, I know what it's like to have relatives live elsewhere. The only people here with me is my grandmother and aunt and her husband (plus cousins that don't bother to know what's going on in your life).
If I ever decide to have a family, I'm having loads of kids so I can care for someone.
