I'll paint you mornings of gold, I'll spin you Valentine evenings...Lord, it is such a pain researching other banks while your mother is throwing questions at you like shrapnal. stare
So far, Bank of America offers a wonderful plan savings-wise by collecting my loose change and rounding it up to the dollar. US Bank would better for me checking-wise because they offer a student plan that requires no fees.
Hello, Kerri, Elcia. :3 Though we're strangers till now, We're choosing a path between the stars.

It's always hard to focus and work when people are diverting your attention. Shopping around for a new bank?
(And I think it's time to get ready for a possible EI change)
EDIT: ARGH I hate classes being canceled! Now I have to find another class to take stare And I actually wanted to take that class too!

Banks. Ugh. I'm just sticking to the bank I already have, my parents have been using it forever and it works for us. If I ever have to switch banks I'll probably rip out my hair in frustration. Dx So I don't envy you the task of researching, Chex. razz
Elcia: What class got cancelled, now? o.O?

I'll paint you mornings of gold, I'll spin you Valentine evenings...Yeah. Remember Wamu turning into Chase? That's my bank currently. Before Wamu changed, they told me via statements that they would not charge me a monthly service fee for my savings until I turned 19 or had a balance of $300+. My mom called Chase this morning because she had a freakin' password on the account and they told her that because they're not Chase, they don't uphold it.
So, I'm getting charged $5 all the time now. Though we're strangers till now, We're choosing a path between the stars.

I was going to be taking wheel thrown ceramics now in the spring but I just got an email saying it is canceled. stare so now I need to go change my schedule. What sucks is the same thing happened back in the fall, and I just let it go this time I seriously can't afford to. And I hate looking for classes, too many interesting choices and too much overlapping with my luck. XP
Edit: Well isn't that terribly convenient of them, right Chex!? Oh we became them but we have nothing to do with what they promised, SOORRY!

Chex: What the hell? D: Stupid bank.
Also, only $300+? That's not that much.
Elcia: Dang, that sucks. D: *hugs* I hope you find a class that you like that works perfectly. ._.

I'll paint you mornings of gold, I'll spin you Valentine evenings...Because I don't have a job, that $300 was hard to get. whee
With Bank of America and US Bank, they do offer student-oriented plans/accounts. With BofA, they have an automatic savings plans with the checking account they have where they take any left over change I have and round it to the nearest dollar, which is pretty cool, considering they'll pay up to $250 of it (if it gets that high).
USBank, with their checking, will give me free everything, except for a savings account. I have to open one of those a separate thing. They will give me free paper checks the first time, though unlike BofA, where they don't give me paper checks (who writes checks, anyway?); however, BofA has an online banking deal you can set up with the checking account to write checks online and the bank will send the check out itself. I wouldn't have to pay for the stamp, they do it. So, like I said, BofA would be better for me savings-wise and USBank would be better for checking. Though we're strangers till now, We're choosing a path between the stars.
