@Waku: I've had a friend recommending these for years... finally hied myself down to Powell's to get the second in the Howl and Sophie series (and the third, but they didn't have any used copies), and while I was there picked up the first Inkheart and the first Percy Jackson and the Olympians book. Haven't started the others, but have been immensely enjoying The Lightning Thief to date. smile ninja "Percy", indeed. Perseus?! rofl

The rest weren't bad either though (though I think it was the third(?) one that I felt started off slow...once you get past that though it goes back to being good.).
Also, I found myself trying to figure out the who's who in there before Percy did (he made it easy in a lot of them...the kid's kinda slow in that book). I'd stop reading and ask my brother 'Hey, is ____ supposed to be _____?' and then he'll check where I'm at so he doesn't spoil stuff I didn't want him to spoil before he answered (I'd usually ask this like a page for so right before the little lightbulb goes off in Percy's head).
