Does anyone know any decent webcomic hosting websites? Trying to decide where to put the Viking Tomato comic I'm going do to.

(I bought it from ThinkGeek. I want the tray that makes pi symbols, too. And you're not weird, I wanna do that, too. xD My popsicles are made with lemonade.)

Question to everyone: WHO HAS BEEN TO HEAVEN? Aside from Pickles?

You'll swoop from incredible highs when you're just glad to be alive,
to those lows when you wish you were dead.

And just when you start thinking that you've accepted who you are,
that changes,
too.

I HAVE BEEN TO HEAVEN.

Je veux une popsicle de citron. D: Puis-je aller a ton maison?

(Translation: I want a lemon popsicle. D: Can I go to your house?)

Tae, tu te souviens quand nous avons parlé de "J'Explore"? Je crois... ah, je ne sais pas comment le dire en francais. I think I'd go crazy doing it, if I went to the strict program you went to.

A lot of the time, students would just get together and jam; si tu as un instrument, ammene-le. 3nodding

(Silence? xD BAHAHAHA. Yeah right. Believe me, you'll be introduced to a ton of French music. The school is always bringing French artists and groups to the school to perform, and there are shows at least once a week. Quite often, the students just get together and jam. If you have an instrument, definitely bring it.

I understand what you mean, but it's really not as bad as you think. Music is my life. I discovered so much great music because of my immersion program.

As well, I'm pretty sure it's just Ste-Anne that's THAT strict. If you get desperate and need an English-music fix, just bring an MP3 player and listen to it in your room. 3nodding

I would just hate to see someone avoid the program because of a "lack" of music. sweatdrop There was no such thing at my school...

x3 Good to know. I was just idly looking through my music library and realized, "oh, j'ai seulement trois chansons en francais. .___. Ce n'est pas bon si je va a Ste-Anne." Mais, je suis heureux maintenant. (Heureux? Heureuse? Quelle est la difference?)

Quand tu... bother. I have problems with future tenses and past tenses. When you went to the program, what was it like in a typical day?

Heureux is masculine. Heureuse is feminine. So tu est heureuse. 3nodding

When you arrive, you'll find out what residence you're living in. It's arranged by age, so you'll be with other people your own age. You will likely have a roommate, and that is decided alphabetically by last name.

On the second day, everyone writes the same test. The idea is to determine what level to place you in. There are 8 levels: Beginner 1 & 2; Intermediate 1, 2, & 3; Advanced 1 & 2; and Perfectionnement.

Beginner 1 is for people with no French whatsoever. Perfectionnement (the level I did when I was in Explore) is for people who are mostly fluent. There are usually 5 or 6 Beginner classes, to keep class size small.

You will sign a contract to speak only French. 3rd warning is expulsion.

Your will also need to pick a workshop (atelier). There is something for every interest, but not every one is available each session. Some of the ones that were available when I went: Bootcamp (physical fitness training), Video and Traditional yearbook, social dance, Acadian stepdance, French culture, jewelry-making, art, drama, tae kwan do, gardening....

So you wake up in the morning, and you can have breakfast at the cafeteria (it is open for breakfast, lunch, and supper and closed in between), and then head to class. You'll be there for 3 or 4 hours, with a break in between.

After the break, there's an assembly, where they announce the activities for the day (and what's coming up), and usually the moniteurs and profs do a skit or something.

Then there's class 'til Lunch. After lunch you have about 20 minutes of free time and then you go to your atelier, usually 'til around 4. Then there is free time until supper.

After supper is free-time for awhile, but then there is always some other activity. There are intramural sports, music shows, talent shows, coffee-houses, games, funny olympics, school-wide hide and seek, bingo, dances...it varies.

Friday and Saturday night are themed parties at the campus bar. Hawaiian, toga, Louisiana, Halloween, Christmas, 50s, casino, among others. There are trips off campus, to go whale-watching or visit historic sites.

The school is surrounded by the woods and is a minute away from the beach, so there are places to go to be alone. There's also a computer lab, since you won't have internet in your room. (This changes during the regular school year, though.)

It's 5 weeks, but it goes by really, really fast. At the end, you take the same test again, and the government uses that to determine how much progress you've made. And....the last night is Soiree Anglaise. There's a huge banquet and we burn our contracts and there's an all-night party all over campus.
