Story time is win. 3nodding
~~~~~~
On this Saturday, after Podmore had worked hard all week, he woke up early as usual. But something was different today. He didn't smell pancakes.
“Maybe I have a cold, and my nose is stuffy,” he thought. So he blew his nose on a tissue. But that didn't help.
“Maybe I woke up too late,” he thought. So he looked at the clock. But it was right on time.
“Maybe today isn't Saturday,” he thought. So he looked at the calendar. But it was Saturday.
Podmore couldn't understand what was going on. So he decided to go and find out.
Down the stairs he went, and still no smell of pancakes. He looked inside the kitchen, and his mom wasn't even there! Podmore didn't know what to do then. All he wanted to do was eat the best pancakes in the world with his mom, like he always did.
“Maybe I didn't work hard enough this week,” he thought, and wanted to cry.
Don't worry, it's going to get happier soon. But there's more sad first. I AM SO GORRAM CHEERFUL. And as I'm writing this I'm laughing to myself going "WHY AM I DOING THIS?"
~~~~~~~~~~
But Podmore knew he had tried his best all week long.
Sometimes he had been scared before that his mom would be disappointed in him. Sometimes he hadn't done very well in school. Sometimes he hadn't tried his best. But she had always asked him “Podmore, did you try your best?” And he would tell her the truth, “Yes, mom,” or “No, mom.” And even if he hadn't tried his best, she would forgive him, and tell him, “You can't always be the best at everything, but you can always try your best. So next time, you'll try. And I will always love you.” Then she would give him a big hug, and still make him pancakes.
This made Podmore feel better, and he didn't feel like crying anymore. Instead, he decided to go find his mom.
First he went to her bedroom, and knocked on the door. But when she didn't call out, he opened the door just a little bit, and peeked in. No mom in there.
Next he looked in the bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy, but there was no mom in there.
Podmore looked all over the house, from the linen closet to the pantry, under the dining room table and on top of the fridge, but no matter where he looked he couldn't find his mom. It was well past breakfast time, and his stomach was growling very loudly, and he was very hungry.
“Mom!” he yelled, rubbing his tummy. “Mom, where are you?”
“Come here!” a small voice squeaked. Podmore looked around in surprise. It didn't sound like his mom. “Over here!” It sounded like it was coming from a small mouse hole on the wall. Podmore waddled over to it and bent way over so he could look in. It was so dark he couldn't see at all.
“Hello?” he asked.
“Yes, here!” the voice said.

Children's book, Jaft. ;-; This one is about missing your mother and pancakes. The next one is about exploding beer.
Also, I'm so fracking tired. So I think I'm going to stop here tonight. MOTHA ********' PIRATES YO. Anyways. Nightbyes~
~~~~~~
“Who are you?” Podmore asked.
“I'm the mouse princess!” said the voice, “and your mom has been kidnapped by the turtle pirates!” Podmore didn't know what to do. He had never heard of the mouse princess or the turtle pirates.
“I've never heard of the mouse princess or the turtle pirates,” he told the mouse princess. “And if you're a mouse princess, why can't I see you?”
The mouse princess came out of the mouse hole when he said this. She had fluffy grey fur, and wore a little tiara. “Here I am!” she said. “My name is Princess Marigold. And as I said, your mom has been kidnapped by the turtle pirates! They want to force her to make them all pancakes forever, or they'll have her walk the plank!”
“What do I do?” asked Podmore.
“Help me sneak into their ship and we'll get her back,” said the mouse princess.
“But where are they?” he asked. The princess pointed to the back door, in the back of the kitchen.
“Out there,” she told him. Podmore walked to the door, the mouse princess scurrying behind, and opened it carefully. And instead of his backyard, they were at a sandy beach, and a ship was slowly sailing away on the ocean.
