So, was I the only one who sat infront of the TV last night feeling like a little kid again while watching the Toonami prank?

Seriously, I remember when Toonami aired for the first time back in '97, and I watched until it ended in '08. Seeing it again last night made me feel like a little kid, sitting there watching Gundam Wing/Tenchi Muyo!, and freaking Trigun.

I'm in a dorm and don't get channels on my TV. When I heard that I'd missed such a glorious event, I was sad sad
But I did have a good evening with some friends, so I guess it was okay. No one's tried to prank me this year.

I suspected the joke, and noticed early on that all the shows were at some ending point. Alas, I want Toonami back. smile

I watched the Toonami "prank".... I didn't sleep at all that night and I wanted to, oh so badly, I wanted to. But I had to watch! I'm a little sad that it was a once off thing...

I've never lived somewhere that got Cartoon Network, so I only vaguely know what Toonami is. So, no nostalgia for Tae. razz

Pretty much everyone I know is going home for Easter weekend except for me... I guess I'll just do homework and go buy chocolate once it goes on sale?

I had a dream last night that somehow involved the X-Men and skateboarding. I was very confused. The end!

It's cold and rainy and I'm stuck in a shipping container all day long! sad

I just skimmed the page and saw prank, so I'm gonna tell you guys about the prank I pulled in Katimavik, and the only prank I've really pulled in my life. biggrin

So, the members involved are:
Nik - (mostly) reformed douchebag from Alberta, now super close friends with Lyndsay
Lyndsay - hippie sailor from B.C., my first friend in Katimavik, she is now super close friends with Nik
Etienne - crazy insane and awesome francophone from small town Quebec
and me, who has mostly been awkward and not able to express my nerdiness enough

So, in Katimavik there's this position called the house manager. every week, two of the Katimavik volunteers stay home from work and instead do all the cooking and cleaning for the group. The first week it was Nik and Tamara who were house managers, and me, Lyndsay, and Etienne pranked him by writing "we heart the house managers" on the wall... with sriracha hot sauce.



Really, it was just Lyndsay writing it and me and Etienne laughing behind her as she did it. Apparently, that stuff is super hard to get off white wallpaper, so since then Nik has been waiting to get us back. Last month there was a huge bout of pranking, but I wasn't involved in it. I think Nik, Lyndsay, and Etienne got all their pranking urges out, but Nik still has it in for me. So this week, I was house manager, and he threatened retribution upon me.

So I waited. I checked the toilet every day for cellophane. I checked my shampoo for baby oil poured in it. My cups had no holes. My shoes weren't superglued to the floor. Nothing was happening. It made me antsy. So I decided to make a preemptive strike. I'd get him first.

The prank itself:

Step one: Bugging him about his being an a*****e... or rather, his a*****e itself

Nik has been having issues with peeing. We don't know why, so he went to the doctor... and had a prostate exam. That in itself wouldn't be too bad, but for hooours afterwards all he would talk about was how a hot nurse had stuck her lubed up finger up his bum.

At one point in my teasing him about it, I mentioned figging as a means to get his mind off the lubed-up feeling.

When I did my prank, a couple days later, the first thing was a cute little present sitting on his bed.... of a buttplug carved out of ginger for that figging.

Step two: Streamers of clothes

Pretty simple, I took all his favourite clothes, tied them together, and hung them all around the room in a huge convoluted rope.

Step three: Vanity fair, makeup everywhere

This is when I enlisted Lyndsay for help. Nik is a vain guy, he admits it, and we all know it. While I was tying his clothes together, Lyndsay took the foundation that Nik owns (to make his complexion smooth) and painted a heart on the outside of his white cabinet, and on the inside wrote "Pretty boy swag", because that's what the foundation is. We then hid the foundation in the closet where Nik has been spending a lot of his time lately, though in a discrete place.

Step four: It's raining... clothes?

Simple: Grab some laundry. Open window to balcony (which we're not allowed to go on). Throw clothes. We tied one of his pairs of pants so it dangled off the balcony, so he could see it.

And yeah. That's it. I've never really pranked before. C:

Oh yeah, and I kept the butt plug so I can slip it under his pillow later this week. xd

Tae: Yeah, a shipping container. I was helping my parents out with their radio control car club, and the timing computer I had to watch over was in a shipping container. I had a window. biggrin
