I am an idiot. I just did something incredibly ******** stupid (although unintentionally awesome for the recipient).

We ordered delivery. The total came to about $22. I hand over two $20s, plus a tip. The delivery guy looks at me strangely, and asks how much I want back. Thinking (or, rather, not thinking at all) that what I gave him was only a $5 or $6 dollar tip, I replied, "All of it."
The guy seems even more unsure, and asks me if I'm really sure. I say "Yup!", and he leaves, dazed, probably because he just made a $25 tip.

I don't even...

Somewhere, possibly, in my sleep-deprived brain, I think I put together the "two" and "twenty" from "twenty-two", and came up with "two twenties". Maybe. I don't know. I'm trying to console myself with the thought that I probably made his day, but the intense feeling of embarrassment is getting in the way.

kHaha I made a similar mistake when I was in Austin hangin' out with my buddy. I kept tipping the cab drivers the same as the fare cost me. Spent waaaay too much on cabs that weekend. Yay for being drunk...

Hmmm, so... I have summer employment (yay!). But oh my gosh, real life is hard. Can I just be a kid forever? Now I know why Peter Pan didn't want to grow up!

I feel like I should write something and I want to write, but my motivation and creativity are just kind of swirling in vague circles of "hey, that would be cool. Hey, that would be cool. Wait, you mean you want to create something? ******** that noise"
So I'll probably read and/or knit tonight. I'm so sleepy.

I watched Doctor Who today and last night. Last night I saw the season 5 finale and it made me happy and sad all at the same time. It was pretty cool. And today I saw the first two episodes of season 6. Whoo!
I'm reading everything I type in this tired monotone in my head. Myep.

I made a chocolate cake with cheesecake type stuff baked into it last week and it was really good. So were the tea cookies I made the week before.

I might watch more of season 6 tonight after work. Or I might just... finish the scarf I only have like 20 more rows to complete and then I can finally send it to the person it's for and get one of the ladies at church to teach me to knit in the round so I can hopefully get a hat done in time for fall/winter... Because if I watch a new episode of Doctor Who, I won't be able to do that and knit. Though if I watch one I've seen with my sister, then... Hahaha.

Since I've been watching Torchwood, which is kind of like Doctor's Who's grown up cousin, I probably should too. I've seen some of it, and I've liked what i've seen, but I'm too busy with other things I like
