Sounds likely. I've been swamped myself. Even with the snow days, once you hit upper level classes, professors give you no rest? No class? here, do this online JavaScript course! That will take about three classes' worth of time to actually finish! Yeah, extra work!

Apparently my university hasn't had snow days since...ever. .__. We had a huge blizzard right before the holidays, and it was really fun trying to make it to my exam, since all the public transit was delayed or cancelled.

Baltimore hasn't seen any real amount of snow since 2010, so when we got like, a maximum of two feet this time everything closed for two days. Not all universities, but definitely mine. Granted, there's no real campus so almost all the students are commuters. Guess the school realized that

I'm not sure if the weather we've had this winter is typical or not, since it's my first year in Ottawa. I always thought of Ontario as being really snowy, but from the way people have been complaining, I think we've gotten more snow than normal.

All I know is that winter here > winter in Saint John (the last city I lived in).
