genki literally means health but I was basically asking "how are you?"
and Stir I took four years and I STILL forgot everything lol

-kun is usually for males -chan is usually for females

~stir of echos~ whats the difference between kun and chan? i feel kinda stupid right now...but i could just be all the medican o.O *pokes Sanxzo-sama's explanation and watches it melt* >.> oops... weeeelll... ...kun is more used for boys (boys of equal social status and older people call younger boys kun) and chan is used more for girls... *BUT* in a business setting, women can be referred to as kun. and young boys rfer to eachother as chan. Chan is also used form parent to child or between lovers. BUT if you want to get really deep into it, -tan is a cute form of chan...it is usually used for girls only. -sama is a title of respect (means 'lord').
