(Adrian)"Where have you been?"My mother barked the moment I put my stuff down.
"I was out,"I said softly.
"YOu know your supose to check in with us when you go out so we know where you are,"My father said calmly.
"I know,"I replied softly.
"And who were you out with?"My mother nearly screamed at me.

(Stevie Rae) "Keith?" Okay. It's officail. I am trying to talk to a ghost. I'm metal. "Country hick." Okay, maybe not so crazy. 'Country hick' was Keith's nickname for me and noone knew about it. And I plain as day heard that whispered into my ears. Getting scared, I hurridly tried to fall asleep again.

(Adrian)"A friend,"I replied.
"Who?"My mother growled, clenching her teeth.
"Stephen,"I said simply then walked up the stair to my room.
"ADRIAN!GET DOWN HERE THIS INSTANT!"She bellowed after me but I ignored her and walked into my room then shut the door and started getting ready for bed.

(Stevie Rae) I sadly looked around the room. Other than that ghostly whisper, no other sound was made.

(Adrian)I layed down on my bed and pulled the covers up to my chest, not really ready to go to bed.

(Stevie Rae) Forget it I thought to myself. I layed back down and had a dream of Keith telling me to go for other guys..... that we were never meant tp be....... everything happened for a reason.... Matt seems like a nice guy..... blah blah blah.

(Adrian)I layed awake, staring at the ceiling.

(Stevie Rae) After tossing an turning all night, it was finnaly morning and I got up to get dressed.

(Adrian)I snapped awake to my alarm clock and hurriedly put my clothes on and was slipping my shoes on when the door bell rang.

(Stevie Rae) I ran into Matt in my hurry to dash for my car. "Hey, wanna ride?" I asked. "Yeah. Sure." He shurgged. Man, he was cute.

(Adrian)"Hello," I said opening the door as I put my other hightop on.
"Why hello,"Stephen's voice made ny head snap up.
"What are you doing here?"I asked, smiling at him.
"I just wanted to know if you wanted a ride to school?"He asked smiling back.
"Yah that'd be great, just let me get my stuff,"I said finishing tying my shoe then grabbing my backpack.

(Stevie Rae) "You go to the same school as me right?" I asked Matt. I had never seen him before. "Yes."

(Adrian)I talked to Stephen all the way to school and when his friends saw me get out of his car I swear their eyes were bigger than a cow's.

(Stevie Rae) "How come I've never seen you around?" I aasked Matt. I wasn't trying to be nosy. "Just switched. Look at thoe guys eyes! They look like their about to fall out of their socketss!" He laughed. I looked at where he was pointing and laughed loudly too.
