@ Kato -- Not necessarily. I have loads of guy friends, that doesn't mean I'm attracted to them or vice versa.

@ Pisces -- Abby... heh. I knew a girl named Abby, once. But, even if she is the greatest thing since sliced bread to you... well, never mind. If she's that important to you and that worth chasing, then you could keep trying. I just don't want you to be disappointed if it doesn't work. :/

Please read back, I clearly state BEST FRIENDS. I have loads of friends that are girls but a relationship that is a best friend aspect is the one that ends up this way. stare

I'd still have to disagree with you, though. To become attracted to them, you'd have to find a lot more qualities in that person than just what you'd see in a best friend. Call me jaded from not finding qualities in anyone worth sticking around for, but eh.
