well, mice can flatten thier bodies to fit through small spaces... believe me... i've see where they can fit through...

Bout this size. Maybe a bit smaller, with a longer tail and darker, almost black. Cute little guy, really, though not as much so as that deer mouse I saw one time. They can get through an opening as small as 1/4 inch, he probably coulda got out sooner but was just scared. Edit: Yeah, I'm trying to catch it. I have a juryrigged live trap set out and baited, hopefully he'll be dumb enough to go for it. biggrin ; They're not as smart as rats are, after all.

try setting some glue traps on the floor around the hole so that if it jumps out of the hole, it'll land on the glue... we're trying to catch some too and we found that one of the traps had isulation all over it so that they couldn't get to the glue... that was smart....
