Celestial Burden EienKage I am vehemently against 'balance', because it is an untruth. There does not need to be good and evil, dark and light. There needs to only be light and goodness. It is that, which is implied by 'balance' that galls me. And how does Kingdom Hearts have balance? What I remember of it, (at least the original) the message was that even in the darkest dark, there is still light. Exactly, in the dark ther lies a light, but beind that light there lies a shadow. In the beggining of the ghame it states, "The closer you get to the light the larger your shadow becomes." To me that implies that for every light there is a shadow. Also, how can you tell me it's an untruth. That is simply your opinion that it does not need to exist. You cannot say it is false. I strongly believe that it is true. perhaps it's because of my religion, or perhaps I think too much, but I strongly believe that balance is indeed necessarry. Hmm. You are correct. And again, it is true that the closer to the light you come, the larger your shadow becomes. Don't worry, I can still theologize my way around that one. wink And I do believe Evil needs to exist, because without temptation there would be nothing to fight against. The true balance of the world should be (ideally) one where Evil exists and tugs all people toward darkness -- but where all people always resist it's siren call. Ideally. Realistically, that won't happen, as even if nearly the whole world was nearly always good, there would still be those who would 'embrace their shadows' so to speak. And so, a true, yet attainable balance would not look like not like this:  But like this:

Eien, I'm really sorry. Normally I would love to continue this debate, but I'm really not up to it. I would love to but in my current mind set my arguments will be far too easy to shoot down and I won't be able to make any good points.
