My birthday is in six days, and so is our indoor drumline show's first full performance. It's all awesome 'n stuff. Yeah. It's "Africa" themed.
And our final competition is... this Saturday. And I get to put on a lion cape for the show and be the "hunted" in two of our songs. surprised
And choir is going great, and I'm single again, and I'm in the ATG, and I finally found a copy of Mercenaries, and I'm gonna collapse from over-happiness.
And my ex is talking to me again, and I might finally get back with her in two weeks when I'm not grounded anymore. razz

Thankies, Slim.
The main problem with it, is that when the announcer says, "Drumline, are you ready?" the drumline acknowledges them. We do it by having Ben sing the first lines of "The Circle of Life, from the Lion King, and I can't stop laughing. xp
At least we're on step, though. xd

Sweet Mat-san. Sorry for taking so long for a reply (but you probably didn't care too much - if at all).

Sentama Lin Sweet Mat-san. Sorry for taking so long for a reply (but you probably didn't care too much - if at all). Oh, come now. You're my favorite person here. Slim is a great writer, and Tsuji is a pretty calm, cool guy, but you're one of the few who I find easy to talk to. For me, that is nice. So... anything exciting happening to you?

Eh... I suppose I've finally found (or, remembered) the reason that I want to be a teacher.
And... well... I've gotten over some romantic loneliness.
So... well I'm doing quite well. I'm glad that you can talk to me easily though. Hehheh... I just wish I knew what to talk about more.

Why do you want to be a teacher? I mean, I've thought about it, but... pooh. My parents want me to get a high-paying job like them. It irritates me sometimes.
I was thinking of being a band teacher or something of the like. surprised I mean, living life in music.

Well... I think that students of any age (but preferably ones that are still minors) need as much love and care as any person. I've seen bad teachers who have forgotten the main goal of teaching - to care and love each student so that each can reach their highest potential.
Now, I'm not stupid. I know I can't be Mr. Love for all of my students. But I have a talent for teaching and a talent for music. If I can make one student happy and personally successful, I will be happy.
I don't need the money; I don't need wealth or possessions. While their nice, the talents that I will give students and their growth into wonderful adults will be my own reward.
And... yeah. My parents wanted me to be a lawyer or a doctor because it's more high-paying and I'm still helping people.
