It's about being... um... Irish...
Patty's day is short for St. Patrick's Day. They have a big parade in Chicago, used to die the river green. Not sure if they do it anymore or not...

Mmm. I just wonder what it's actually about, as in, the history behind St, Patrick's day. I mean, I know the story about Guy Fawkes for the 5th November. :3 It feels great knowing why you're actually celebrating something.

I'm pretty sure they still dye the river green in Chicago, they did in '05 when I still lived there. sweatdrop
