The plot and characters totally get me. I can sit back and enjoy a lot of anime, but this one truely absorbs my attention.

Well, if you were to assemble a list of anime from the few that I actually like it would look something like this (ranked from most awesome to awesome):
Gungrave
Kaze No Yojimbo
Bleach
Ruroni Kenshin (weak ending but made up for with Reflections...)
So, yeah. Actually, Reflections almost made me cry ninja
