Lin, did... did you use a SEMI-COLON?! I forget about those...
And I'm sorry, if it makes you feel any better, I am working on my profile page...

Hehheh... don't apologize. Other than the fact of realizing that I've lost all sense of visual style (check my profile as an example of said loss) you've helped me get my lazy a** looking for some inspiration.
And... did I use the semicolon incorrectly?

I think you did... I don't care though, I'm just amazed that someone used one! The semi-colon is like that kitchen utensil that you buy at a Pampered Chef party because it looks really useful, only to have it end up at the back of the drawer coming out on the rare occasion that you want to impress someone with the diversity of culinary tools at your disposal.
So, whether or not it's used correctly, in a situation like this it is close enough to be cool. A semi-colon is used to combine two complete thoughts without a conjunction, or as a divider in lists when more distinction between items than a comma provides is necessary. -Tsuji

Hey Kire-san! Hehheh... well... I do my best to use punctuation correctly. Hopefully I have been using it correctly.
I tend to enjoy using it though. 3nodding

Well, Lin, use it to your hearts content because most of the English speaking population doesn't know how to use a colon outside of time. So you should be safe using a semi-colon however you choose. I've thrown it into a couple of English papers in the past (used correctly and incorrectly) and have gotten varying responses from my instructors.
@Slim - Hey, it's what I do. cool
