Isn't MySpace just horrible sometimes? I checked it today and I got two random Friend requests from some girls with suggestive pictures.

*sigh* It's not hard to read that I'm gay, ladies, considering that I directly say it in my profile. I'm definitely not impressed by your boobs.

I liked the colors that I used in my Gaia profile so much that I decided to put them in MySpace too. The idiot coders made that unnecessarily difficult.

Why can't MySpace (and Gaia for that matter) just put user-defined CSS into an external stylesheet instead of putting the style tags in the body element of HTML pages?

well... it depends. i took a lover to a place once, and he was nearly raped by another member. i beat the bloody hell out of that foolish little- ahem. anyways. if you do go to any such place, you ought to go with someone strong and who knows the scene.

I definitely know people who would be willing to go with me so that nothing bad happens (I don't expect anything that I can't handle to happen - probably because I'm overtrusting or just plain stupid). Having little connection to the Twin Cities, Minnesota, BDSM community makes it hard though.

Gaia did that as an intermediate step between the classic profile and the newer ones. That isn't even the problem, though. MySpace has poorly implemented hooks in the HTML. So instead of having:

.module
{
}

You have

table table table table td td
{
}

And if that particular entry just happens to apply to too many items on the page, you have to go back and create a separate entry to change the other thing back. Those items that do have hooks are stupid things like "redtextlink15".

Yeah... I can see where MySpace would have problems. I hate using classes and id names in un-semantic fashions. Unfortunately one just has to deal. *pats Tsuji-san*

that's good then. it can be dangerous, but it usually isn't. i'm not entirely familiar with america.
