I've been doing quite well. I graduated from high school and I'm doing a Library/Information Services course at TAFE. All is just fine and dandy for me.
So, how have you been.
Edit: Welcome back, Lin.

Thanks Terra... although... I plan to stop soon. My nicotine cravings are usually yearly and I don't plan to get myself overly dependent on it.
But... hehheh... it's tough going through the quitter's flu. It's a good thing I'm not accustomed to it.

But... hehheh... it's tough going through the quitter's flu. It's a good thing I'm not accustomed to it. Might be wise to invest in patches of gum to ease the transition. There's a reason why the tobacco companies stay in business, their products are not hard to let go. Richest man on gaia and a friend of mine has tried quitting three times in his life and he just can't. It's kind of sad knowing how strong of a hold it has on some people.

I prefer cold turkey, Omni-chama, but I will rely on said resources if it comes to that. Like I said I'm not a chain smoker but I like tobacco. I just need to remember to be responsible since I'll be using my voice to sing. That's why I do my best to extremely limit myself. Edit: Seeya later Kato-san!

That would be preferable but cold turkey is not easy. So if you fail in cold turkey you've gotta be a realist and seek help if you need it or else you'll be unhappy with what happens to you down the line. There's no shame in getting help to overcome cigarettes if the addiction proves too strong.

There's no shame in getting help to overcome cigarettes if the addiction proves too strong. I feel no shame in getting help, Omni-chama. But as I said I smoke rarely - normally one or two cigs a year. I think I can get over this since I wasn't dependent on it. However, I have friends and a support group that will help me should the situation arises. I'm just preparing myself for the eventual irritableness in a few days.
