I just noticed a flaw in my theory...you need water, boiling water to maximise your noodle experience...
Some people lack that water...water wars will be fought only to boil the holy noodles
Which is the only food left on earth...which would be called Noodleworld, and someone might have a map where one could find a geysir which never dries out and has unlimited boiling water!
