Ciel Avec Cafeine I wish the "depressed" kids in some of my other guilds were as optimistic as you, Prinny. I'm about to go effing postal on the next 12 year-old who "h8s" their parents for having the nerve to try and do what's best for them. ^w^ Prinny has to be optimistic! Or else Prinny...will... *shakes head with a smile* =w= Nevermind...

No, some people have totally valid reasons to be depressed, regardless of their age; sometimes it stems from issues with parents.
But some kids...ugh. An example: One girl was complaining that her parents were being too strict. Some kid on her schoolbus teased her and her girlfriend for kissing, so she beat the kid who ended up with a concussion. ...Now, whyever would her parents be concerned? =/ They also won't let her sleep over at her girlfriend's house! Le gasp, how horrible. rolleyes This all aparently makes her 'rents hateful, horrible people.

As much as I'd like to, the other crewmembers and the captain would probably be pretty annoyed with me. sweatdrop I'd rather not get demoted.

Not sure how factual that sig is there, Sanzo. Mexico didn't real care about California or most of its northern territories at that time as they had their own problems with widespread violence and revolution brewings and whatnot. Mexico largely left California alone and provided no support when California called for it. before the war.
Pretty neglected state they had going there and because they were out in the middle of nowhere there weren't even a lot of people living in there from Mexico.

the sad thing is, that kind of thought process doesn't leave even people who are in college, I have friends who think the minute you hit 18 you don't have to listen to your parents anymore, I'm like no... that's only true if you've moved out if you are still living under your parents roof, you live by their rules no matter WHAT age you are

We still had people living in the area when the borders got changed, AND they didn't even get citizenship even if they had wanted to stay.
