They're (the *channers) are saying it's their meme, and are pissed off that a "dumb" site like subeta (full of "furfags" or something x3) is using longcat as an item. I quote, "Longcat is looonnng, not a scarf."
I honestly have no idea what exactly the truth is. One side is spreading rumours that Keith (owner of subeta) "DDos'd" (...dunno what that means, but apparently it's bad) 420chan, the *channers got pissed off, realized subeta had a longcat item, and...this whole conflict started. Someone discovered that the username/password info was up for grabs, and realized that some of the names and passes were the same for Gaia. Hence, ...all this bullshit today. XD

Ok, most important part: Unless you used the same username and password on both subeta and Gaia, you're fine. People are panicking and they have no reason to. Some people used the same username here on Gaia, and on subeta...and actually used the same pass as well. Now, since the *channers have that info (there's a big ol' list of names and such), they're having fun with other people's accounts. Edit: This thread explains it better. Just read the first post.
